Have a Brave and Courageous Christmas

Did you know that "Merry" did not originally mean happy?

We often look to Robin Hood and his Merry Men as being a bunch of happy guys in tights dancing around in the forest.  Strange thought using todays idea of men hanging out like this.

But the word Merry meant strong and courageous, often with a purpose and mission.  We could say our soldiers right after 9-11 were Merry Men and Women.  When they saw the Twin Towers collapse, like the soldiers and the supporting citizens during WWII, they volunteered by the hundreds of thousands.

Christians are to volunteer by the hundreds of thousands if not millions to be Merry during this time and stand up for what Christmas is really all about.

  4. Thank you Tim. I have been accused of writing too much, so I try to keep it short and simple.

You can use any of this you want.
